Our Approach

High Standards. Every Time.

Most gardens are watered badly rather than watered too little. A short daily sprinkle wets the top inch, encourages shallow rooting, and leaves plants less able to cope with dry weather than if they had been left alone. Longer, less frequent watering delivered at the root does far more with less.

System design comes down to zoning. Lawn, mixed border, hedging, and containers all want different volumes at different intervals. A single zone covering all of them will overwater something and underwater something else.

Common Questions

Irrigation Systems, Answered

Will it save water?

Generally yes. Targeted delivery at the root, at the right time of day, wastes far less than a hose or a sprinkler left running.

What about hosepipe restrictions?

Restrictions vary by water company and by year, and drip systems are sometimes treated differently from sprinklers. We will explain where things stand at the time, though the rules are set by your supplier rather than by us.

Can it be added to an established garden?

Yes. Drip lines can be run through existing borders with minimal disturbance and mulched over so they are not visible.

Do I have to manage the controller?

You can, and we will show you how. Many clients prefer that we adjust it seasonally as part of a maintenance plan.
